San Francisco Area Decompression 2018: Black Top City!

WHEN: Saturday, October 20th 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM

WHERE: At Potrero Power Station, 23rd St @ Illinois St, San Francisco

Tickets: Tickets here

  • Cost: $25-30 in advance, $35 at door, kids 12 and under free! A portion of proceeds will benefit local neighborhood initiatives.
  • We are also doing a tool drive to support Burners Without Borders activities; bring any tools to donate to the gate.
  • Bring your own cup to cut down on waste and use them at bars and free water sources. Food is available on site, but you can pack a picnic and pack out your trash.

Bring the spirit and imagination of Black Rock City to the Bay and help create the 2018 incarnation of “Black Top City” — an urban version of Burning Man along the historic waterfront at the decommissioned Potrero Power Station, here! Our community will once again create a wonderful microcosm of BRC, with spectacular art, mutant vehicles, theme camps, inner- and deep-playa adventures, performances of all kinds, fire are and fire dancers, silent disco, a movie screening room, 3-D immersive playa experiences, and LOTS more to discover at a brand new and incredibly exciting location! Simply not to be missed!! Burners Without Borders Tool Drive at the Gate!

BWB Tool Drive for the Mobile Resource Unit and other community resilience initiatives: Burners Without Borders is dedicated to bringing the tools of empowerment to underserved communities which include: disaster areas, humanitarian zones, and impoverished neighborhoods.  Through our ‘Mobile Resource Unit’ (MRU) program we can bring the space and tools necessary for citizens to create solutions on their own.  In order for us to continue with this experiment we need to continually restock our supplies.  Find more details, and a tool list here:
