The South First Street art walk is happening the first Friday of August, September, and October. We’d love your help! We could use help with set up around 5pm, breakdown around 10pm, and/or help hanging around the booth to socialize and talk to people about Burning Man! We also still have space if you’d like to showcase any art, physical, performance, or otherwise.Comment or send us a message if you’d like to join us!

We know many of you are excited to kick off festivities, both virtual and physical, to celebrate burn week. And if you’re making the journey out to Black Rock Desert, bring us back some dust But if you’re staying local this week and seeking to connect with the Burner community, we invite you to join us for San Jose’s South First Friday Artwalk & STREET MRKT coming up the first Fridays of August, September and October from 5pm-10pm!!

We have a 10ft x10ft booth where we’ll be sharing art from local and regional artists, as well as general information about the global cultural movement that is Burning Man. And if you can’t make it this month, we’ll be back for the final Art walk on October 1.

Call for Artists. If you’re looking to show off your theme camp, art project, performance art, or other Burning Man related artistic endeavors, we’d love to have you join us. You can use this opportunity to educate the public about your work and recruit volunteers for your projects.Call for VolunteersIf you’re not an artist, but love talking and discussing Burning Man culture, we’d love for you to join us in helping to run the booth and talk to visitors about your experience!

We would also love help with set-up and break down.If you volunteer for set-up, we anticipate setting up the booth around 4:30pm. Breakdown will happen around 10pm.If you’re interested, please comment or message us specifying which dates you’d like to help with and whether you want to share your artistic talents and/or volunteer to help set-up, breakdown, or station the booth.
